There is one big problem though. In a world indebted to the eyeballs and the masses holdings assets whose value was held or inflated by the availability of cheap oil, what happens when those assets become irrelevant and worthless because oil is either no longer cheap or simply unavailable as readily? I don't think transition will be orderly Peter. We're not like a mob of sheep where in drought years you can simply reduce herd numbers.
