You are correct about saying that property prices are only supposed to double every 7-10 years. Perth has doubled in 2 years recently. If your living in Bullcreek I'd imagine a few years ago it would have been very easy to buy a nice house for $300,000 - I bet its not very easy to find one for around $600,000. If they were to double every 7-10 years, then if they stayed the same price now for 4-5 years then I guess it would be about right. Who knows maybe they will - but I doubt it, I think they will start heading up again next year but not in the same manner as we have seen more recently - leaving out last year.
