Manny I dont have to grapple with those things as i have reconciled them The way you frame the bible story is from your own bias Which is ok,everyone can have their own opinion But at least be real enough to frame the story fair and reasonably Science does not tell you at all that simple cells merged and became more complex organisms,thats just another belief that that is what happened. This was Darwins guess that this is what he thought happened Darwin himself was greatly troubled by his own thesis of evolution,he could see problems with his own thoughts. This theory was nothing new ,just like you say there were Gods older than mine etc,these theories are nothing new,they were built on philosophical belief of the babylonian philosophers who said there is no gods or Gods,everything happens through naturalistic processes There is nothing new with these debates,in the bible Paul addressed these philisophical issues with these ideas using terms from their culture that they would understand,Romans chapter1 is like looking at the debates on hc lol
