Nope and he makes this VERY CLEAR in John 17:3 where he independently of himself, defines the Father (Yehowah) as the only true God when he was here..
Backed up by John 1:18, after the cross, exalted and glorified he is now a Begotten God = was not a begotten God when here.
Jesus is the 2nd Adam MAN, God did not become the 1st Adam, just like he didn't become the 2nd. God dwelt in the Temple, Jesus. He dwells in our Temple, and we do not become him.
I and the Father are one = One in word = John 17:20-24. (by their word SO THAT, they become one as we are one).
Jesus by having the words of Yehowah without measure, when he expressed them out, he became the express image of God's Person = Word, The Word. God's words expressed are his spirit person expressed. Heb 1:3 KJV.
Jesus confirms this in John 14:10, by saying or showing, that by hearing the words coming from him, is seeing the Father -> Spiritually. (seeing is also perceived, discern, aware etc).
The Word = Father and by inheritance the name The Word of God = Son. Jesus is deemed a Word of God and titled "The" and another of the meanings or representations of the name, is because he became the carrier of the word of God - word of life, like no one before him.
