I am firmly AGAINST the merger simply based on the implied discount on the proposed share ratio, would need to be 4+/1 to sway me to vote FOR the scheme. Plenty better shareholder value options out there for SLR cash.
Spot Price ATM is 3247 AUD!
As the POG goes up then the RED5 hedge position deteriorates and will cost more to extinguish making the merger less attractive to SLR shareholders.
