I have absolutely no "faith" in any religion - Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, who else can I name? That is not to say that I find all their tenets hogwash. Over the centuries, as well as horrors, wars, enslavement & etc, a lot of good has come from various religions, perhaps not enough to wash away the blood on their hands, but certainly such things as the preservation of histories over centuries of darkness must be recognized as good things. And the establishment of various basic standards of good and beneficial behaviour in society owes much to preachers of religion otherwise we would be living in an even worse cesspit of evil than we do.
BUT, with emphasis, if certain preachers think they are going to be remembered for joining hands with those who would lead society in a downward spiral of moral and intellectual nonsense, they only have to look at their declining audiences.
