This no way Areva has bought this significant stake as an investment.

It clearly intends to acquire this ground and will most likely do so theway it has done so in the past with similar companies. It will takeover the who company is my view.

Its just a question of when but one can assume that it has seen enough to put its foot on it.

What it needs to see before going the whole hog is quite another matter.

Its a no brainer that it inetnds to consolidate its ownership of the locality which holds it existing Uranium ground and Marenica's.

But based on a Market Cap per lb of resource it would seem they are about to pick up a real bargain.

Just a matter of sitting and waiting. I dont think there is much chance that we will see Marenica take this project through to production its far more likely that Areva intends to use it as a long term source of material for its own processing plant.

The JORC coming out in January may be the hurdle for Areva but time will tell.

I picked some up but it looks like a cheap asset amd a monty for a complete takeover at some stage not too distant in the future.
