The other wildcard at Cougar is the PricewaterhouseCoopers review into the company. The review has investigated an array of options for Cougar, including potential mergers and acquisitions as well as the prospect of quitting Queensland altogether and taking its technology to more welcoming locations.

One likely destination for Cougar is China, with Cougar managing Director Len Walker very impressed with the reception he and the company received when in China last year.
