Interesting. Well it's good to know that the Salta Government is capable of providing environmental approval when it suits them. It does beg the question though; how have RIO been able to get environmental approval in less than two years (after acquiring Rincon in Dec 21), yet AGY still don't have an approved EIA over three years after "nearing completion"?

My guess is RIO did a better job with initial submissions, and didn't have to wait for "hydrogeological queries" to be clarified. RIO didn't even complete the acquisition of Rincon until Mar 22, and had a offtake MOU in place with a Tier 1 customer (Ford) just three months later. Now that they've got their EIA approved for their 3 ktpa starter plant, I would not be at all surprised to see them surpass AGY (in terms of scale/progress) in the next 12-18 months.

    Anyway, we continue to wait....
