Is climate science all socialist lies? No.

BUT do you think there is an element of an alarmist agenda in any of the news and reports? Do you honestly believe everything you read or see in the news?

The charade has gone on for too long, and it needs to be called out.

Weren't we all supposed to be dead from acid rain and frozen to death from an ice age?

Then it was global warming, but when that didn't happen fast enough, they changed it to the more generic term of "climate change" - that way they can say "we told you so" whenever there is an irregular weather event.

How many 100 year storms did we have between 2020 and 2022? I think it was about 4 by memory... The fact is they don't know what the hell is going on. They can't even forecast the weather 7 days out, yet they are trying to convince us that they know that the weather is going to make the world uninhabitable in the next (what is it this month??) "10 years if we don't act now"?

30C+ is considered extreme heat now a days. What a joke, that is perfect weather. 40C is hot, but we had 40C days all throughout my childhood. I do agree that 45C is extreme for coastal areas, but how many have we had in the last 20 years?

Don't get me wrong, we can all do things to support the environment and make the world a better place, but there are 10,000 different things that the world can do that will change the trajectory of things without me, or other people, having to give up driving my ICE car or eating meat.

If people are concerned about carbon in the atmosphere, they should be more vocal about logging of old growth forests, erosion, poor farming practices and a million other things that are detrimental to the environment.

The mega corporations are the biggest polluters, but they get let off the hook because of "lobby dollars" and favours.

If the regular Joe on the street does the wrong thing, it is fines, confiscation of assets and jail time. When it's a corporation, almost nothing happens - fines aren't a big deal, they are the cost of doing business.

Australia isn't the great country it used to be, look at any aspect of our quality of life, everything has eroded from what it was 20 years ago. Unless you were well off and you continued to pile money into property, but that is a case of the haves and the have nots.

God speed to the guy, and congrats to the country for being willing to try something different. I'd sure as hell vote for a guy with a chainsaw if it meant we could get our country back.
