Newbie22 You are correct, having a trading account with the big 4 banks....but THEY have their own Brokers.

I had the very Same restrictions put on me by COMMSEC as @mickey2free had.
They'll let me BUY UP in the auction at the start of the day but NOT during the day, so I tried buying "At Market Price" they rejected the order with "FAIR MARKET" I've rang them a number of times to sort it out....their answer was I have too many shares!....bunch of fecki$g CROOKS!
SO I set up a trading account online....$8 trades 1st mth & $5 trades during 2nd month and onwards after the 2nd trade. WITH AS LOW AS $90 MIN TRADES.
Best move I've EVER done.....always test withdrawals each month for confidence as well.
