Beats me why people accept these awards for community service. Accepting them is like pay for services rendered and hardly in the true spirit of giving without regard for reward.

The few people I know who have rec'd these don't deserve them and worse they use them to advance their money making ventures, while abruptly winding back their high profile "community services".
