The market is in a really bad mood at the moment and is dumping stocks on any bad news.
However look at the facts and you'll see the stock should recover at least 40-50% quick smart.
The dumping has finished and sellers slowely drying up... time is a funny thing and the time is soon coming when people will think "boy isn't aristocrat cheap". In my opinion this will need a catalyst such as the internal review.
Large shareholders are putting pressure on management to take some quick action to restore investor confidence.
This has already happened to a degree with ALL confirming they won't focus on South America any more and focus more on the US and Euro markets. They also confirmed expnasion into the "reel" machines which are more popular in the USA.
2002 saw one off expenses in expansion overseas which is exactly that... "one-off". They are set up now to reap the rewards of this expansion as governments around the world change laws to allow more pokies and hence tax them.
ALL will see large growth this coming year and international revenues will be more than the "stagnent" aussie pokie market.
Earnings were still a respectable $80m with about the same cashflow and nice juicy dividend. The market sentiment will change very suddenly towards this stock and while it won't see $7 in a hurry $3 is very easily achievable.
Just my outlook into this unique situation.
