The drivers for along time were the Sprigg Family. When they realised the national park status may impact earnings, which it certainly will, didnt they back pedal. Without the miners there is no arkaroola. The tracks will close and the money dries up. THe immaterial amounts generated from tourists wont keep the current infratstructre for long.
