I'm still unclear as to where exactly Four Mile is. I realise it's in the northern Flinders but is it part of the sanctuary mentioned below. If it is, the outcome of the re-zoning proposal will be vitally important to AGS.
Lots of unknowns in the mix at the moment.

Fears for future of Arkaroola sanctuary.

Time is running out for the Arkaroola Wilderness Sanctuary.
Comments on the State Government's proposal to re-zone the Northern Flinders Ranges and find a new "balance" between conservation and mining are due by December 19.
Sanctuary director Marg Sprigg says the area is under greater threat from mining now than ever before.
Until mining of any description can be achieved sensitively, without any surface impacts, we believe it absolutely has no place in the Arkaroola mountain landscape", she said.
The unique landscape includes fossils discovered in 1946 and important landforms, rare plants and animals such as he yellow-footed rock wallaby.
Department for Environment and Hertage chief executive Allan Holmes said the Government welcomed feedback on the draft policy.
