Certainly not a short seller - They have no interest in ARL (Below is the short interest in last 3 years - barely 0.1% at the worst of times) - main reason for this is ARL register has genuine holders and no one would lend 1 share to short sellers out of us.
The 19.9% level is interesting and I suspect the shareholders that came in Aug-23 (GEAR etc) would want to gain a solid footing and so would the group of investors controlled by Ian/Matt. Ian and co. are very well aware of what Gina/Chris did to liontown/azure etc and they donot want to be in that position. Therefore 20% blocking stake is very important and I think Ian and his supporters(incl me) have well in excess of that. So do the Aug-23 group of investors (Gear etc)
This may be controversial - But my initial theory (& current view) was that the 62c order is placed where it is placed to somewhat align with the announcement. What I mean by that is the announcement is not far now! My heart beats faster when I type this!
Learning experience for sure. I have dedicated my last 5 years to studying Ardea and will enjoy the next 3 years of derisking process just as much.
