So many games can be played here with brokers representing multiple entities etc.
Personally I am keeping an eye out for a large special cross trade I think it comes up as a spx5 usually gets slipped through at 7.30 pm. when no one is looking. Perfectly legitimate of course.
It’s a trade where one company holds shares in multiple entities and shifts them around with no money changing hands. Just another way to legally manipulate the SP, unfortunately the top 20 is from 2022 and has not been updated as you can somtime's see the movement.
I have come across this before with certain companies it’s not necessarily a bad thing but good to be aware of them and their tactics.
