Was speaking to someone today who didn't particularly like speculative stocks, he considers ARL (and other junior explorers) speculative.
He buys yield only stocks, doesn't really invest into the market to chase speculative return, he is very, very well off (much more than myself!), and has practically been retired for the last 20 years, since the age of 40.
I asked him what he thought of ARL, after he listened to my long winded fundamental analysis, he for the record stated that he likely will not buy BUT did say if big fish were lurking, given the timing of the option expiry, now would be the time to do so.
I'll be buying more later this week.
