I think it may be a case more so of the strategic partner may have associates who purchase upon their future position. This explains the recent capitulation and now the recent quick rise, someone/group/institution is jockeying for the longer time-frame, not the short time-frame that many have in mind here.
The next announcement will be very telling, confident mgt. know who is moving the register and more so that they will need to announce any potential partner/findings immediately!
