Not that long ago two ASIC officers were charged with insider trading and fined for a few million dollars so there are serious consequences for while collar crime, but not so blatant shenanigans should easily fly under the radar. Yesterday's rise happened to COB and CLQ as well so I read it as some sort of industry correction. With these 3 leading ones fell into 52 weeks low the week before, yesterday's action could be a fake pump to suck in some weak hands from retail then dump simply because there was no good announcements unless some are coming soon.
