So here goes.
In 2005 Heron put together a deal with Vale which was considered to be spectacular for a small Cap. It even resulted in a rapid interest from BHP. At that time the share price of Heron went 6x, from around 20c to $1.30. What would a deal like that do to our price in the current market? Would it be ignored like so many Co/Li announcements, or would it change the game?
I know there are multiple factors that cannot be assessed, and it would be a speculative discussion, but I'd be interested to know what some of the keen researches here would make of that Vale/Heron deal should it be applied to our current situation. What were the strengths of the deal, and its weaknesses? Would it guarantee that we go to production and give us a secure and competitive market position?
