That's great news, but it's a deceptive headline. ARM has just validated Brainchip IP as an add-on for a particular processor and done a partnership PR. There's no justification to claim "ARM develops new Cortex M85 chip with Brainchip Akida IP". ARM has just said "yes, your stuff passes our rules and we're happy to see it" - which is a huge step forward, but shouldn't be interpreted as meaning Akida is going into any specific ARM deployment if it wasn't already.
