Wasn’t the Qualcomm discussion more around everyone (including Qualcomm) investing into ARM to ensure the technology isn’t taken advantage of by Nvidia?
There are real concerns that Nvidia will try to keep the IP to itself meaning the market becomes less competitive. I’m sure Qualcomm are gutted they didn’t get in first but it seems the industry is largely resistant to Nvidia being the owner of ARM.
