In my opinion, and I admit I don’t for a minute understand how things work behind the scenes, this is huge and potentially devastating. What if ARM were well down the track in creating a product with us as part of the EAP, and now ARM China is hiving off into a separate entity, claiming (or at least having access) to any of these new products and ip? Yuge!!!!!
