So you're an Australian fund manager - benchmarked to ASX 100. What do you have to choose from.
1. Banks.. lower interest rates, higher NPLs = no go zone at these prices
2. Commodity stocks - China is slowing, oversupply all over the place.
3. Oil stocks - Oil has rallied from $25-$50 along with most of the stocks - do you really want to buy up here?
4. China exposed CONSUMER stocks... hmmm how many are there? well on Friday, BKL joins the ASX 100. This will make it an easy choice for fund managers.
I'm a buyer.
