1 - what are your impressions of the area? Loks great from a chopper. vast, extremely remote from any bulk transport corridor and port, and only good for donkeys.

- So any chance you had a bit of a chip away while you were there yourself? Yes of course. I have a Miners right so I can sample anywhere I want!

2 - given the length of the strike is it not likely that there would be a few large pods of high grade somewhere in there? Very unlikely in my opinion in manganiferous shales. It would be a different story if you were in dolomites and altered cherts (eg Woodie Woodie model). Whatever you do dont think this area is comparable to Woodie Woodie, they are very different mineralisation models.

3 - The laterites? hard to explain those results due to surface oxidation? No, the laterites are composed of fragments of weathered manganiferous shales, which are oxidised either in situ, or after they have eroded, and therefore easy to account for the results.
