For example
BHP made decisions that cost dearly and sent billions of dollars down the drain.

3 Ravensthorpe laterite nickel scrapped.
Plus many others around the world.

Just because they are big and powerfull doesnt necessarily mean they always make the correct decisions.
Rio had to fight Cazaly through the courts to retain IO tenement that they forgot to renew.
