Apart from being taken south of the discovery area, what type of environment were those rock chips taken in.

If manganese numbers of that grade are being recorded in an area which would be associated with the eroded reminance of the stratigraphy including the bedrock sequence to the north then one smart person might be expecting a lot more buried and super concentrated manganese in the same orientation along the whole strike.

Yes we all know RIO did truck loads of stream and rock chip sampling over central and north western australia many moons ago. But as usual they did very little with it.

I do like the fact they were looking for base metals in the area. Maybe ARM will find that too!

Lets just see how it all plays out.
