there's a few websites that provide info on the likely strike price for options expiry.
thu, take care when using - i use it as part of my overall toolbox of stuff that i look at.
opex for may in the u.s. was pretty close on the mark, april from memory was way off. march was excellent - while the market was collapsing, maximum pain indicated a massive rally to come and that is what transpired.

interesting to note that for the month of june, the big $$$ has swung to the long side, where the opposite was true for the month of may. thru, it is still far too early to use this as an accurate guide.
