The estimations of TAM are variable depending on the assumptions used to calculate the market and what time period it represents. The estimate of 1.5 billion provided in this presentation was noted as conservative.
The cost of the predominant procedures in use also will effect the market value. So if BTM costs a 5th of Integra for instance and BTM takes market share the addressable market for the same population will go down by a large factor. TAM is a very fluid and general number really and should be taken with a grain of salt and only used comparatively as opposed to absolutely.
