What you've just said would make sense if Arrium was just an iron ore miner.
Fortunately it doesn't matter for Arrium if it stops mining iron ore all together. It has two other very strong businesses that are also in expansion mode. The fact that there seems to be support for iron ore at the moment is a bonus.
Arrium will comfortably ride it out as its costs are cut and its profits improve.
It doesn't have to mine iron ore at all.
