"KordaMentha is yet to launch a sales process for Arrium, but speculation is mounting that BlueScope Steel may make a bid for the company’s Australian Tube Mills operation. BlueScope, which usually takes advice from Credit Suisse, may be able to buy the business for working capital value from administrators.
Credit Suisse analyst Michael Slifirski has raised this possibility before and says BlueScope seems the only logical owner. This part of Arrium is said to have been for sale for some period of time, but has failed to attract a buyer."
