Every time i fly overseas i do my own bookings and price shopping - no corporate frequent flyers for me. Paying with my own hard earned.

It never ceases to amaze me just how uncompetitive Q pricing is. Business class is generally 2 -3 times more expensive than quality rivals such as Cathay, Singapore etc. I've often wondered how the hell they stay in business. Guess Joyce is now telling us they will not if they don't change their cost structures.

If you're in an international business then you better have internationally competitive costs and that always means wages.

Remember the ALP is the political mouthpiece of the unions so whatever they say you can take with a pinch of salt.
