And Tony Knight from Arrow described the levels of benzene detected in the three samples as "minute", at two parts per billion.
Hang on a moment there Mr Knight - 2 parts per billion is twice (100%) above the Australian Standard & you describe it as "minute".
Cougar Energy had 2 readings of 2ppb Benzene & was shut down in July & remains closed. Any chance of double standards existing in Queensland? Meanwhile Cougar has had the book thrown at it & possibly faces legal action or a hefty fine but big companies can exceed the Australian Standards & Anna Bligh defends them. It really makes you wonder!
