We retrospectively applied for the R&D grant- it wasn't a necessary component of DD2 appraisal well financing- us brave shareholders stumped up for that cost.
You raise some valid points of course- you're not the first nor will you be the last to question if this new approach will work.
We investors are punting that it will work and that the risk is outweighed significantly by the reward of opening up a new gas frontier by unlocking gas laden deep coals.
