the well was shut in for a long while, so the gas/pressure build up resulted in a burst and then...declined singificantly.
There is room for improvement, but I am not expecting them to get 4mmscfd from the Carynginia, as A-1 did all those years ago.
NWE will need more money.
It's going to be a choice of diluting capital or selling down their 27%.
If they could do it and retain 20%, that would be a good outcome IMO. Significantly diluted from where they were 2 years ago, but they live to fight on and potentially increase the market cap by enough to raise further capital and develop their other assets.
The Weald/Wessex basin estimates are due around March/April. it is expected to be significant so that could well provide some short term momentum for NWe.
I'd be hoping they make the most of it and raise some funds at that time. They're going to need it.
