This might ruffle some feathers... what defines successful. They did not achieve all that they set out to achieve.

To me they failed.

Arrowsmith 3 is exactly what they should have done with Arrowsmith 2 from the start.

Who cares about collecting data, drill the well, chuck a straw in and see what comes out. That's your data! Throw it on the back of a truck, or pump it into a pipeline and exchange it for $$$$$$$.
