Good question from my view point Greg,
I would add, If there priority becomes/is the K then i would say go with a new well,if the deeper zones use A2. reason,the top of a well is the most expensive,casing linings sleeves ect ect.

If i was targeting the HCSS i would use A2.
If i had all the info i might use A2 for all layers as the upfront work/cost ,infrastructure is already in place
(step out well)

To step out in the HCSS you have to start 500 meters above the target area, which would put us once the radius is done right under A1,we all know what was there.
