@310843B - I simply responded - politely - to your post - and you feel aggrieved.
Roberts is a great painter, wonderful landscapes, peaceful scenes of the past, a past we all long for - there is absolutely no doubt about it. I would love to own a 'Roberts' - his paintings are worth up to $1 mill nowadays, but to call every artistic effort since 'rubbish' - and Australia is prolific in painters - elicited my response - that comment is simply not fair to the many men and women who have made Australia a bustling art scene Roberts lived and worked here in the early part of the 20th century.
