@NoBoDe I am beginning to think Da Vinci never finished a painting in all his life - he kept them, because he thought they weren't perfect. His painting output is actually quite small, he was active in so many fields and researched, observed, wrote books - an amazing man and artist. Lots of drawings though - I remember almost 'running' through an exhibition of the Queen's treasure of Da Vinci sketches - just small things of all sorts of objects, often with a scientific theme over 200 hundred, exhibited in a small building accessible from a side wall of Buckingham Palace- he had this inquiring mind, which had to know everything.
