One tactic that is given in the Sun Tsu Art of War is to move your enemy from his familiar ground and lure him to your favorite fighting ground where you use the surrounding environment to overpower him. Grog, food, (###) and spin doctors are pretty deadly combination.
Reminds me of a company selling time-share. The company invited people to a holiday resort, free accomodation, free food, free drinks and no obligations to buy. But, many ended up buying one, though most regret after that.
