As a business owner I have an opinion of Airtasker already. I see jobs posted in my industry. Not one of those jobs would I touch, or do I need. Mainly because the dollar value of the poster is so far off the mark of what can be achieved by trained professionals in my industry in my geographical area. The jobs are off the mark financially and geographically.
As I need a job done for my mum, I have gone and posted an ad on Hipages and Airtasker to see what prevails. I'll try to report back some honest user experiences.
So far on Hipages, the photos failed to load.
Both companies ask for budgets. As a potential customer, I am not yet experienced in how much this task may cost, what is a fair budget. I believe asking for a budget from me, may put off some tradies. I don't want a ping pong table taken up 5 flights, I want a professional trade.
Are there other options out there I should look at besides the traditional method of hunting them down individually.
