International expansion is not easy. Since Airtasker has launched into UK and Ireland 3 years ago, they burned a lot of cash and now look at how much percentage of revenue is from the UK? It is not that successful. It is a gig economy platform that has no moat and too much innovation, it has a lot of existing competitors oversea like taskrabbit. how hard to let US people give up TaskRabbit and turn to use a similar new platform from overseas.? 15million cash is too little for burning overseas, next Cr is coming.
