Well there is an interpreted extension of Artemis to the north, and an additional structure altogether to the west towards Wheatstone.

I'd say a more likely scenario is that as soon as MEO became aware of the interpreted location of MEO, and along with a farminee (which MEO already had a relationship, Statoil methanol), MEO & Co secured preemptive rights to adjoining permits.

Some great cases of this in Africa where discoveries are not declared (tight hole status), until an operator secure strategic permits adjoining a discovery.

It is possible that MEO/PF need to disclose this to the JV, and all of a sudden CUE want a bight of the adjoining permits as well, and MEO/PF said, no can do.

We need to remember, MEO is in the drivers seat!
