Artemis up on solid strike at Mt Clement

ARTEMIS Resources shares have surged this morning after the company came out of trading halt to announce excellent assays from the first hole from the latest round of drilling at its Mt Clement gold project in Western Australia.

Artemis shares jumped as much as 22% in early trading this morning to an intraday high of 6.6c.
The company announced a high grade hit from the first hole in the 12 hole drilling program, intercepting 6m at 5.23 grams per tonne gold from 14m downhole and 6m at 8.81gpt gold from 106m, including 3m at 13.68gpt.
The hole was aimed at testing the first of five grade zones indentified by Artemis? in-house mineralisation modelling.
The company announced an intercept of 20m at 4.30gpt gold from the project in January this year.
