Here are some stats on the net/gross thickness encountered in nearby wells by other Operators, compiled frm media releases etc on the public domain.
I've only focussed on some of the wells on the NE-SW trend, from 'Julimar to Artemis' for now.
------------------------------------------------------------
Apache: Currently being wooed by Woodside!!
Julimar-1: 132ft net pay, 85 mmcfd gasflow + 835 bbls cond.
Brulimar-1: 113' net pay
Julimar East-1: 131'
J-SE-1: 195'
Brunello-1: 119.7', flw'd 72.5 mmcfd + 1230 bbls cond/day
Grange-1: discovery (thknss ???, pls add if u know this)
Note, the flow rates are frm 2 different DST's conducted in 2 separate sands.
Reserves: 2-4 tcf, develop by 2011
Plant: Devils Creek
-----------------------------------------------------------
WPL:
Pluto-1: 686' gross (364' net), flwd 9.5mmcfd due to testing equipment failure
Pluto-2: 207' gross thickness
Xena-1: 161' thk
Reserves: ~5.1 tcf
Plant: completion by late 2010 at Karratha, 65% complete
3 recent dusters: Ixion, Bellatrix, Belicoso, hence the shopping-spree!!
------------------------------------------------------------
Chevron:
Wheatstone-1: 175' net (413' gross gas column) 53 mmcfd flow
Iago-2: 154' net gas column, 53 mmcfd flow
Reserves: ~5 TCF
Proposed Plant: Ashburton near Onslow
------------------------------------------------------------
Hess:
In block WA-390P, drilled 3 out of 4 wells discovery wells & have committed a record $507m, its for 75000 acres in WA-390 & to drill 16 wells over 3 year period. This commitment surpassed the $127m forked out by Shell for 12 well program for its Prelude near Inpex's, giant Ichthys field (~13 Tcf) in the Browse basin.
Glencoe-1: 92'
Briseis-1: 151'
Nimblefoot-1: 92'
Martell-1: 360' gross gas column (in WA-404P 50:50 with WPL & part of Greater Pluto area, mentioned in the press).
------------------------------------------------------------
MEO's Artemis: Thickness unknown, size ~9.5 Tcf
------------------------------------------------------------
The above are stats frm discoveries made by other operators in the "Pluto-WTSTN" precint. Feel free to add any other findings u may have read of.
With their data modelling, MEO should know the rough thickness at Artemis. I have no idea abt this, perhaps someone could call the company & ask them for this clarification. After all, its a key variable in GIIP calc's!!
cheers
