The study of transdermal TPM/CBD for the treatment of hand osteoarthritis, which was conducted by The Lambert Initiative, has been published in Nature Scientific Reports as
An open-label feasibility trial of transdermal cannabidiol for hand osteoarthritis.

The primary outcome, namely, a significant reduction in hand pain relative to baseline, was met.

Significant improvement in hand functionality, as measured by grip strength compared with baseline was also seen.

Finally, study participants also experienced significant improvements in QoL measures relating to anxiety, stiffness and fatigue.
