I agree yesterdays announcment wasnt completely negative. There were some (albeit limited) positives.
But just in your reference to the announcement back in May. I feel back then Centro held the balance of power. At that time they essentially had so much to offer. There was the prospect of sales, but more importantly Centro had the advanatage that the banks wanted more security, They got that when they were given fixed and floating charges.
But now 3 1/2 months later, the banks have that security. And the prospect of sales etc have not to a large degree materialised as expected.
As a result of this I feel the balance of power has shifted in favour of the banks and now they are in the driver seat.
