Is there actually anything that new in there? All it does is tie together a bunch of the calculations/assumptions they already knew... The main issue is still just all the unknowns with the process.
Also, 2024 - waaaay too ambitious to be up and running IMO. Only read through quickly so maybe I've misunderstood something, but new(ish) technology/process, permits, plant design, construction... can't see it happening by 2024. And that's my issue with VUL - I just feel everything is waaay too sugar-coated and that makes me feel like they're trying to distract from something... Yes, geothermal+brine lithium extraction is a great idea, but I feel like the marketing on this has been working in overdrive because there's still some fundamentally tricky issues to be resolved....
Just my rambling thoughts.
