    I dont think AEd would NOT pay it off the notes early, it is at 6.5% which by Australian standard is low but for the US holders it is high yield...and the conversion terms means anyone converting today (from August) would be underwater.

    Does anyone know can you buy the notes? Are they traded, if they are like some of the other companies, they could be worth buying in this market
